E-Book 2.0

Becoming a Sporting Influencer 2.0

We launched our very first ever E-Book back in 2016, which was at the same time anxious and thrilling. The goal of the e-book was to understand the impact of parental engagement in youth sports, both positive and negative, and how they could become an integral part of the sporting environment. A mixture of personal experiences, further reading, discussions, and study was included in every chapter. We were incredibly proud to release a helpful and popular resource for all those connect within youth sports.

We wanted to upgrade and modernise the previous ebook while ensuring the fundamental success of it. Four years have passed, and we have discovered that more can be included from what we have experienced, gained, and discovered through a series of interactions, networking, collaborations with additional reading.

Launching the 2.0 edition will reconnect with readers that have benefited from the first edition. And present an opportunity to continue our support to existing followers and engage with a wider audience.

With all the feedback we’ve been able to collect, we felt there was a real need for such a resource and something worth further developing. We sincerely hope that you will find the following helpful, informative, meaningful, and insightful.

All money raised from this E-Book will go directly to Ataxia UK.

My biggest inspiration and motivation for running and fundraising will always be Seimon Owain Jones and raising awareness of Ataxia UK. Seimon suffers from Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) it’s thought to affect at least 1 in every 50,000 people.FA is a rare disease that causes progressive nervous system damage and movement problems.

Having already completed 4 half marathons and 1 Virtual London Marathon this year (2020), I’ve now been fortunate enough to earn a place to run the 2021 London Marathon whilst representing Ataxia UK. Here’s my Just Giving Page:
